The gothic window design, the gold opulence, this jewellery box reminds me of the many gorgeous churches I visited growing up in Poland... This carefully upcycled box has be lined with new, luxurious velvet fabric, it's been gilded with brass leaf, aged, distressed and glazed for that faded grandeur look. And obviously I wouldn't be myself if I didn't include a snake, or two, as well :)
Th box measures 23 x 13 x 10cm and has a Serpentina wax seal on the bottom.
