Thanks to the wonderful suggestions on my Instagram post I will from now on call this finish Gothic Gold. A rugged, heavily textured piece, gilded and aged throughout. The cabinet itself, even though not vintage, certainly has an old-world feel to it, with its bow fronted drawers and queen Anne style legs, but I decided to take it to the next level by adding a modified WoodUbend applique with a miniature snake hidden in the centre. But that's not the only hidden snake - there's another one on the side!
An opulent, rich and elegant piece, this cabinet can serve both as a bedside table or a small occasional/side table. It has 4 drawers, all lined with brown, durable fabric.
